By the time of the 1861 census Ralph and Maria were living at 25 Nylance Row, Wigan. Ralph is a Shoemaker and his two daughter's Mary and Alice were both Throstle Spinners. Also living with the family were two lodgers, Robert Halliwell, 39 and a Coal Miner, and his wife Martha, 50. |
