| There are two possible entries for John marrying. (1) To Elizabeth Tyas 30/4/1776, Pontefract and (2) to Mary Gibson, 25/12/1766, Penistone. The second is in the correct area but only 14 years after John's baptism, but who's to say that (a) he didn't marry early and (b) he was baptised soon after birth. He may have been three or four before his baptism. But then again, it may be neither entry. | ||||||||||
