A paper cutting telling of the death at El Alamein 22nd July 1942 of Trooper Gerard Livesey, R T R, is present in an envelope of newspaper cuttings. Who was he?
At the time of the 1841 census Nancy and her children were living at Chapel Lane. Ralph was not present that night.
Ann died at home on twenty first August 1869 at Castle Yard off Scholes Street, Wigan of 3 days of Coematemesis. Her occupation is given as Widow of Ralph Dyke, an Overlooker in a Cotton Factory. Her death was registered by her son John, of Robin Lane Ends, Pemberton, on second September, the registrar was Robert Halliwell. The certificate gives her age as 59. |
